Directeur du Département de Radiologie au Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) et Professeur de Radiologie au Weill Cornell Medical College. Avant de rejoindre MSK, le Professeur Larry Schwartz a été Président du Département de Radiologie à la Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons et Radiologiste en Chef au NYP/Columbia University Medical Center depuis 2009. De 1993 à 2009, il a occupé divers postes de direction au MSK. Le Pr Schwartz est reconnu internationalement pour son expertise en imagerie quantitative et en intelligence artificielle appliquée à l'imagerie du cancer. Il a également joué un rôle clé dans le développement de systèmes de reconnaissance vocale pour la radiologie avec IBM et de systèmes d'archivage et de communication d'images avec GE.

Professor Larry Schwartz is the Chair of the Department of Radiology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) and a Professor of Radiology at Weill Cornell Medical College. Prior to joining MSK, he served as Chair of the Department of Radiology at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons and Radiologist-in-Chief at NYP/Columbia University Medical Center since 2009. From 1993 to 2009, Professor Schwartz held various leadership positions at MSK. He is internationally recognized for his expertise in quantitative imaging and artificial intelligence applied to cancer imaging. He also played a key role in developing speech recognition systems for radiology with IBM and image archiving and communication systems with GE.
